Microsoft Research’s project ulink lets you save and bookmark links in mobile apps

microsoft uLink

Microsoft Research’s project ulink is a new deep linking mechanism that brings the notion of web URLs to mobile apps. The main aim of ulink is to make it easy for users to quickly save and bookmark links inside mobile apps.

With uLink, users can bookmark links to app pages or search previously-seen pages with content of interest. In addition, the tool will even save applications that you have previously looked at automatically. It lets you search through your app browsing history.

Microsoft Research team has tried the ulink mechanism on Android for now and it is not clear if it come to other platforms like iOS or Windows. uLink requires minimal developer effort and allows user defined dynamic links.
