Anand Chandrasekaran quits as Chief Product Officer of Snapdeal

Anand Chandraskaran has announced that he is quitting Snapdeal as Chief Product Officer. He had joined Snapdeal in June 2015.

Snapdeal did not mention who will take his position as Chief Product Officer. Chandrasekaran is looking forward to start its own entrepreneurial venture. Prior to becoming chief product officer at Snapdeal, Chandrasekaran held the same designation at Bharti Airtel. He has also served as senior director, search products, at Yahoo Inc. rior to Yahoo, he was Director of Product at Openwave.

Snapdeal said in a company statement,

Anand has done some stellar work on the product side at Snapdeal. His insights and attention to detail have helped us traverse quickly towards launching and improving products at Snapdeal. We wish Anand the very best for his entrepreneurial journey ahead.

The latest development comes only a month after Punit Soni, quit rival Flipkart to start his own venture.
