The new Kuga will offer technologies and updates to make driving simpler, safer, more enjoyable and more affordable. These include Ford’s new SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system, innovative driver assistance technologies, an ergonomic and comfortable interior and a new 120 PS 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine. Ford has also said that it will focus on investment in semi-autonomous vehicle technologies as the company continues to expand its Ford Smart Mobility plan. The company has a dedicated team developing driver assist technology that is focused on delivering increasing levels of automation.

Ford has added five additional European languages to Sync 3 system and has also installed localized versions of Emergency Assistance, so drivers and passengers can initiate emergency calls in the country’s own language. Sync 3 will initially be available in Europe aboard the Mondeo, the S‑MAX, the Galaxy and eventually, the Kuga SUV. The company said that it will research and develop on driver assist technologies like Traffic Jam Assist and Fully Active Park Assist to provide more comfort and safety to the driver. These will be rolled out in next three years.
