goole+_7_android

Google has just started rolling out v7.0.0 of the Google+ app for Android devices. The new update brings about quite a lot of fixes as well as updated features.

A total of 69 bugs have been fixed and 14 accessibility issues have been fixed. The search bar now shows you autocomplete suggestions as you type into it. The home stream remembers the position where you left off and makes sure to bring you back on track after you’ve checked notifications etc.

The bottom bar can automatically be hidden when scrolling through the home screen. However, it doesn’t work on the notifications screen yet. People without collections or communities will get a prompt to add ones to their profile as well.

Overall, the experience has received an overhaul and makes the experience much smoother, faster and more intuitive than before as well. While the update is already rolling across devices, it might still take a while before it shows up on your device. If you already have it, do let us know what you think of the update in the comments section below.
