Xiaomi launched Pick Mi doorstep home pick up and drop service for its products across India at just Rs. 189 (including taxes) back in October. Today the company announced that you can now give a ‘missed call’ to 7676404444 to book the Pick Mi service. You can also book it by calling the toll free number 1800 103 6286. The amount can be paid online or via Cash on Delivery (COD).
Currently Pick Mi is available at more than 6076 pin-codes, 597 cities, 29 states and 4 Union Territories, including places like Kohima, Bhuj, Kangra and Andaman Nicobar islands.
“In metros (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai), the service is operated through a biker runner model where it will be repaired and delivered back to the customer in 24 hours and in the rest of India, through Fedex as a courier partner, where it will be delivered in 7-10 days” said the company. “Customers will be updated on the stages of service via SMS and e-mail updates,” it added.
Commenting on the enhanced Pick Mi service, Manu Jain, Head of Mi India, said:
