Pinterest has added a new feature in the latest update that makes it easy for you to search for objects. The company has introduced a visual search tool that will identify items in a pin.
Now when you see something you like in a Pin and want to know more about it, you can simply tap the search tool in the corner. After selecting the part of the Pin that you like and Pinterest will show you Pins similar to that. The feature even allows you to filter your visual search results by topic so you find exactly what you are looking for.
The new visual search tool is rolling out today, and will be available via Pinterest’s mobile apps and the Web. Just last week, Pinterest expanded Buyable Pins to Android that lets you purchase items you discover on Pinterest without leaving the app.
