Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 8.0 for AT&T visits FCC


It looks like Samsung is working on a new Galaxy tablet in the Tab 5 series. A tablet with model number SM-T377A has recently passed through the FCC.

The Galaxy Tab 5 is meant for US carrier AT&T and supports AT&T’s FDD-LTE 2300 (B30) Mhz band. It utilize both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wi-Fi bands, run 802.11a/b/g/n.  No other information about the tablet is available yet. The Tab 4 series had model number SM-T331 so the model number for this tablet SM-T377A implies that this it could be the new Galaxy Tab 5 8.0. Unfortunately, no other information about the specs of the tablet is available yet. Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (SM-T815Y) in the new Tab S2 series in India for Rs. 39,400 last month.
