Vertu has introduced new Signature Touch with Snapdragon 810 SoC and 4GB of RAM, compared to last year’s Signature Touch that had a Snapdragon 801 SoC and 2GB of RAM. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p display with 5th generation Sapphire Crystal protection, is encased in handcrafted, fine leather and has grade 5 titanium body. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and comes with gull-wing doors on the back that open to house the nanoSIM and microSD cards.
It has front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus virtual surround sound, a 21-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash, Vertu’s custom Image Signal Processor and camera application software by ArcSoft. It also has worldwide 4G connectivity with support for 17 LTE bands. It has Vertu Life that offers tailored information, articles and benefits, Vertu’s famous Concierge Service and and Vertu Certainty that includes encrypted communications in partnership with Silent Circle.

The new Vertu Signature Touch comes in four colours, across eight product executions; Jet Calf, Garnet Calf, Grape Lizard, Pure Jet Lizard, Jet Alligator, Pure Navy Alligator, Clous de Paris Alligator and Pure Jet Red Gold, each of which can be personalized with engraving. These are priced between 6,500 GBP (US$ 9890 / Rs. 6,55,990 approx.) and 13,700 GBP ( US$ 20840 / Rs. 1,38,2480 approx.) depending on the model and will go on sale through stores globally from 16th October, 2015.
