Samsung’s S Health app now available for all Android devices


Samsung has expanded its S Health app to all Android devices. The app that landed on Play Store earlier this year was available only for Galaxy devices until now.

The S Health app will now work with any non Samsung smartphone running Android 4.4 and above. The app count steps, record exercise data, track calories and also offers coaching to users for daily goals and improve fitness with various training programs. Users can log their food intake and water consumption information in the app. The app offers quick summary about your latest health and fitness status and users can personalize their dashboard by adding or removing Goals, Programs and Trackers.

S Health also connects with third party apps and devices and even tracks your sleep patterns. It comes with built-in support for Nike+ and the Gear watches. The latest move comes from Samsung after it announced that the that the Gear S2 smartwatch will work with non-Samsung Android devices.
