Get ready to throw your First Gen iPhone or put it for sale on ebay quickly because Apple has confirmed that they are dropping support for the iPhone 2G which was launched in June 2007

I have always loved the iPhone for the fact that they were supporting 3 generations of devices – iPhone , iPhone 3G and 3GS. But looks like you might have to finally upgrade your phone to get the future software updates.

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs replied to a user email answering  question about future support for iPhone 2G.

What do you guys think ?  Is it fair  ? It was expected I would say.
