Garmin Asus M10 Smartphone available in India for Rs.19990


The Garmin Asus M10 was launched before MWC 2010 and now it’s quickly made it’s way onto Indian shores. For those of you who have not heard about it , the M10 is a full-touchscreen Windows Mobile phone with a focus on Navigation . It comes with preloaded maps for India and voice guidance is available in both Hindi and English.

Regarding the navigation aspect of the phone , the company has said that this phone has the advanced navigation features present in a dedicated Garmin GPS devices.

The phone also comes with a powered cradle and windshield mount in some regions.

On a interesting note ,  Garmin-Asus M10 is the first device running Windows Mobile 6.5.3 to be available in India. Tthe HTC HD mini and Sony Ericsson Aspen have still not been released in India

The phone was unveiled in India recently by Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin and Mr. John Chen – Business Head Mobile Communications, Asus India.Also present on the occasion was Mr. Rajat Tandon, Director – Sales, Navteq and Mr. Guneet Singh, Lead – Integrated Marketing and Communications Microsoft.

The Garmin-Asus M10 will be soon available in select cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune at a retail price of Rs.19,990
