Rovio, popular for its Angry Birds game has finally announced its sequel – Angry Birds 2, after 6 years of launching the first game. The Finnish game developer says that the sequel will be bigger, badder and birdier, but other details of the game are scarce. The Angry Birds franchise has received 3 billion game downloads so far, said the company.
Apart from the original Angry Birds, there is Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Friends, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Star Wars 2, Angry Birds Transformers, Angry Birds Go!, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Fight!, Angry Birds Stella, Angry Birds Stella Pop!, Bad Piggies and the most recent Angry Birds Under Pigstruction.
Rovio says the Angry Birds 2 will hit the app stores on July 30th. Hope it will be available be available for all the leading mobile platforms including Android, iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry 10 on the launch day.
