Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 received the update to Lollipop quite early in the year, Galaxy Note Edge users haven’t received the update yet. But good news for the Note Edge users on Verizon as they are finally rolling out the update.

The update has the software version LRX22C.N915VVRU2BOF2. We would have liked to see a direct rollout to Android Lollipop 5.1 perhaps considering that many devices are getting the update now. However we guess that it is finally time that the Note Edg eusers got to see some Lollipop love and perhaps the 5.1 update would’ve only pushed the update even further.

Now they can enjoy the new features and improvements in performance while eventually getting the update to 5.1. Apart from the new UI, the update also brings about the new features that come with Lollipop. There are also improvements in performance as well as bug fixes. The update also brings about support for Android Auto. For the full changelog list with detailed photos and description, do check out the source below.

The update should be rolling out across Note Edge devices on Verizon as an OTA (Over-the-air) update. If you haven’t received your update yet, do not fret as the updates do take sometime to appear on some devices. So you will definitely have the update available sometime soon.
