Samsung Monte S5620 in India at Price of Rs.8850

The only let down is that it does not support Qwerty. Extremely difficult to type msgs and memos on a touch screen without Qwerty. Hope they have upgraded the software to support this feature. Any feedback anybody??
Else its got the best features in the Samsung stable. For this price its a steal

i dont know why the not making more BADA phones…. no news of the wave yet….. no it will tough competitions as htc smart has Sense UI and also it has corby qwerty so dont know how many Iron man fans out there for it……

well maemo is not a very polished OS…. it only has landscape mode on it…. also its resistive which need a stylus for better accuracy…. best non-qwetry under 10K is HTC smart….

not to forget the SUPER AMOLED screen…. but i guess it has none….. also i have never come to terms in liking the design of samsung phones they always have a little cheap plastic look in most phones…..

even better make video of it…… but pictures will do also be gr8….

I read in another site that the price was around Rs 12000. What is the correct price in India? Also, does the wifi connectivity work well? How is the performance of the camera? From the picture it looks like the phone rests on the camera lens when you keep it down. Samsung could have avoided that.

Yesterday i have purchased the samsung monet and the price in Hyderagad Sangeeta mobile store is Rs. 8991 as they are celebrating anuarsary and they are giving some gift’s also for each mobile purchased in the chain store’s of Sangeeta mobile store.

There is no qwery keypad for this phone and wifi is working the there is samsung dolfin brouser in the phone it works quite good.

The gaming section as you play the games the charging is getting down very fast……

I bought monte in last month frm chennai. It cost 9000/- for me including theft insurance.
Touch screen,wifi and sound quality these are very gud in dis set.
The best thing I like in this set is battery back up… its really awesome…

I had brought this mobile last week & am very impressed of the camera out put, as well as the look.Audio quality is also quiet impressive so is speed for internet.
The functions are also very easy and fast.
Over all a unique product.

I have bought Monte 20 days back it is good at its price
Camera —–> 3.2MP Quality of pic was good (with different modes)
Battery Backup was quite good (One time full charging gave me one day backup with 40 min of GPS and regular calls)
WiFi ———> This option was Ok the signal strength is some what less.
Touch ——–> The capacitive touch experience was good compared to 5800 and the glassy look of the phone looks beautiful. 3 widgets are cool to dump our apps on the screen.

Multimedia —> Quite good and sound quality is awesome in earphones as well as on speaker mode(pretty loud) but we cannot change the song with out unlocking the phone (no dedicated keys for music).

The only thing missing is the qwerty type keypad on screen.

i request to dont go for this samsung s5620 monte

some of disadvantages are:
1. It locks automatically when display light offs.
2. We cant send more than 10 messages at a time.
3.No flash its a major problem in this..
4.Camera clarity also not good i mean no sharpness in faces..
5.Again a major problem in this is Battery offcourse for a multimedia phone it will be for atleast 36 hours but i dodnt find in this…

it means that the wi-fi signal is not strong enough, you can try to move the phone in different directions near the place where the original signal is. it might help

in samsung monte
In keypad type this—>>> ( *#0*# )
w/o brackets
now select vga on screen.
You can now see though vga camera.
But cant take any picture from vga.
