Mobile Number Portability further delayed to June 30

on March 31, 2010 – 12:47 pm6 Comments

As anticipated, the Mobile Number Portability has been further delayed by 3 months to June 30th.

According to various sources, Mobile Number Portability, which enables subscribers to retain their mobile numbers while shifting to different mobile operators has been delayed as the necessary networks are supposedly not in place yet.

However we doubt if that is the real reason. I think that Mobile Operators are just too scared of losing lots of its customers once the MNP has been implemented.

What do you say?

Yes thats sound true that mobile service providers are scared of loosing huge number of customer because if you survey across India you will find lots of people are not happy with their mobile service provider but they are not ready to change their number so they did’t have option but if once Number Portability is launched every service provider need to make their service good and offer great value of money. but it is really need to make customer King of Market.
