We had got hold of the Videocon SIM card and been trying to “Experience change” but the SIM card took 2 days to even get activated ! The card costs Rs.49 and comes lifetime validity and talktime of Rs.5. You need to get a First Recharge Coupon starting from Rs.61 .
Videocon already has 160 million customers ? Yeh , not their mobile service though. It might be based on their entire consumer electronics business. They first launched services in Chennai and aims to go PAN-india soon. Services are currently available in Gujarat , Haryana , Kerala , Mumbai and Tamil Nadu
The SIM Card Kit was pretty normal and we somewhat like the shades of green. Videocon claims to have a congestion free 2.75 EDGE Network and we are gonna see if that’s true soon. Anyone using Videocon here ? Share your thoughts !
