The YU YUREKA was announced in December last year and went on sale during January this year. It was one of the first budget 4G smartphones after the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. Now the YUPHORIA aims at bringing 4G to the masses at an even lower price point while still providing a good experience to the customers.

Starting off with the displays, the YUPHORIA has a 5″ 720p IPS display while its bigger brother, the YUREKA has a 5.5″ IPS panel of the same resolution. Both the displays are also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Due to the smaller display, the YUPHORIA is a smaller device as well. It measures in at 142.38 x 72.96 x 8.25mm compared to 154.8x78mm x6-8.8mm of the YUREKA. The YUPHORIA is also lighter at 143 grams compared to 155 grams of the YUREKA.

On the front, both the devices have a 5 Megapixel snapper. We aren’t sure if it is the same unit being used but resolution wise, they are identical.
