Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo talks to BusinessWeek


In a interview with BusinessWeek Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo admitted that Nokia has to move even faster and also did not deny possible use of Qualcomm Snapdragon chips on Nokia’s phones.In reply to a question if Nokia was going to create a phone using the Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm his answer was not a no but no comment

I cannot comment on that one. All I can say is that Qualcomm definitely is a potential partner going forward. The companies did fight a long time in court, and now we see them as a potential partner.

Nokia is rumoured to release it’s first Snapdragon based phone later this year and the rumours might actually turn out to be true.

He also spoke about Nokia’s efforts around the Comes with Music service in India where the company spoke to 130 rights holders to get a lot of local music content on Nokia Music Store. Nokia is expected to launch it’s first device with Comes with Music in India shortly
