Gameloft to launch its games on Opera Mobile Store

Opera Mobile Store Gameloft

Gameloft has announced a global partnership with Opera Software to make Gameloft titles available on the Opera Mobile Store. This will offer Opera Mobile Store users easy access to games, especially in emerging markets and will also open up new monetization avenues for both companies, said Opera.

Last year Opera Mobile Store replaced Nokia Store in Nokia feature phones, Symbian and Nokia X smartphones. It has over 300,000 apps and games in the store.

Commenting on the partnership, Ludovic Blondel, VP of Business Development at Gameloft, said:

We’re thrilled to partner with Opera Software. By combining forces we can offer the best gaming experience to even more players around the world.

Sameer Merchant, VP of Mobile Commerce at Opera Software, said:

This partnership is a win-win for our users and our partner. Opera users get to experience high quality mobile games, and our partner Gameloft enjoys increased reach, distribution and monetization of their games.
