Symphony Roar A50 Android One smartphone launched in Bangladesh

Google announced its plans for expanding Android One program to Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka last week and also announced that Bangladesh’s Symphony will launch Symphony Roar A50, their first Android One smartphone. Today the smartphone has gone official in Bangladesh and is available for pre-booking.

The Symphony Roar A50 has almost similar specifications as other Android One devices launched in India back in September, including a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor,Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with updates directly from Google, 5-megapixel rear camera with single LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has 1GB RAM, similar to the other three Android One smartphones, but this has 8GB of internal storage, compared to 4GB on those and a slightly larger 1780mAh battery.

The Symphony Roar A50 comes in Black color and is priced at 8700 Bangladeshi Taka (US$ 110 / Rs. 7100 approx.). It is available for pre-order from local operator Banglalink. As a promotional offer it comes with 8GB free memory card and free data from Banglalink.
