Inbox by Gmail gets Android Wear support, smart suggestions for Reminders and more

Google has updated its Inbox app to version 1.2 that brings several new features, including Reminder suggestions as you type or tap so that you can create Reminders faster. Inbox has Assists, handy pieces of info that helps you with the next step. If a suggestion has an icon next to it, that means you’re guaranteed an assist.

Google has posted a blog post about how Assists work by combining information from multiple sources to give you what you need. After the latest update Inbox works with Android Wear so that you can view messages, mark as done and reply directly from your Android Wear Smartwatch. It also improves tablet experience.

Inbox is still in beta stage and is invite-only. In reddit AMA earlier this month, Gmail team that created the Inbox said that it plans to add features such as option to change the notification sound, better snooze, support for adding signatures, option to download all attachments and more over the coming months.
