HTC Desire Announced!

HTC have started their announcements and the first device up is the HTC Desire. It was previously leaked as HTC Bravo.

You can consider it as a version of Google Nexus One with HTC branding and Sense UI installed on it. It also has an optical joystick instead of a trackpad.

Features are:

  • 3.7″ AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen with WVGA Resolution (480*800)
  • Digital Compass, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Optical joystick
  • 5 Megapixel Camera with Autofocus, LED Flash, Face Detection, Geo-Tagging and Widescreen Photo Capture
  • 1GHz Processor, 512MB ROM, 576MB RAM
  • microSD Card Slot upto 32GB, 3.5mm Audio Jack
  • GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB 2.0
  • Android 2.1 with HTC Sense, 1400mAH Battery

    Y did d htc desire has not given d noice reduction feature as well nexus one does cas maily both have similar feature only missing out d noice reduction.well my opinioun is mobile phone is mainly fr comunication rite so it has to b loud n clear apart frm d rest of d features so they shouldn’t b one step bk fr this pls try to put d noice reduction feature b4 launching d phone thank u .

    I really want to buy the HTC Desire. Will it be available unlocked in other countries? Or when will I be able to get it in India???
    I really am excited! Plus do you all think the price would go above Rs. 35,000?
