Google Maps 4.0 gets released. Adds Support for Google Buzz

Google has updated its Maps Application on the Android and Symbian Platform to version 4.0.

The main feature of v4.0 is the addition of a new layer for”Google Buzz, Google’s newly launched Social Networking service.

Using the new Buzz layer you can see buzz near you or anywhere on the map. You can post public buzz directly from the layer, and even attach a photo from your mobile phone. You can also visiting a mobile place page to read recent comments or to post buzz about that place. You can access Place Pages from the web app, by just tapping on the place name in any location-tagged post.

To Download the new Google Maps v 4.0 just head over to m.google.com on your mobile browser, if you are on a symbian device, else head over to Android market and Download the app.
