Pushbullet brings Universal Copy and Paste to Chrome and Firefox

Pushbullet has extended the Universal Copy and Paste to Chrome and Firefox. The feature as the name suggests will allow users to copy something on one device and then paste it through another, instantly.

The company had first launched the Universal Copy and Paste tool to Android devices as well as Windows, Mac and Linux computers in August. A desktop app for Pushbullet will not be required as it also works with the Chrome and Firefox extensions. Pushbullet said that the Chrome extension will be automatically updated to version 149 while the Firefox extension is available here.

“All you need to do is enable this in the Pushbullet settings on the devices and computers you want to sync. Once enabled, just copy and paste like you normally would. It will work across devices like magic with no extra steps!”

posted Pushbullet in a company blog.

Earlier this month, Pushbullet added the ability for users send text from their desktop computers to their Android phones. Pushbullet also said that it will bring full support for iOS devices soon.
