Twitter allows you to share tweets via Direct Messages

Twitter has added the ability for users to share tweets via Direct Messages. Users on Android and iPhone can send public tweets privately similar to photos or links using Direct Message.

Twitter share tweets

“Twitter is already a great place for public conversation; now it’s also easier to privately discuss things you care about.”

posted Sachin Agarwal, Product Manager, Twitter on a company blog.

In order to share a tweet, users will have to long-press on the tweet that they want to share and a new option “Share via Direct Message” will be seen. The latest addition comes from Twitter merely a week after it announced plans to improve Direct Message. In addition to Android and iPhone, the feature is also available on desktop and Tweetdeck for We, Chrome and Windows.

To share a tweet from Twitter.com or Tweetdeck app press the “••• More” icon and select “Share via Direct Message”. The person you share a Tweet with will get a push notification, and the Tweet will display directly in the conversation. Twitter is bringing an array of features in 2015 along with new independent apps.
