Nokia N97 gets a Firmware update to version 21
We had told you some time back that the N97 V2.1 firmware was coming soon , it’s out for download now and you can grab it via Nokia Software Updater or NSU
Here are updates which this v21 firmware update brings
- Improved call reliability
- Smooth touch screen scrolling
- Browser improvements
- Music player improvements
- Improved image and video stability
The update is only available via NSU now and the over-the-air “FOTA” packages update is expected to be around 17MB. It is still being tested and FOTA update will be available soon.
The update via NSU is is around 140MB.
Although the N97 supports User Data Preservation, we would recommend you to take a backup.
