Used it immediately on my way back from office to home. Map was pretty decent and so were the turnings. Need to try more to look into this feature.

This is great of Nokia. Preloaded maps no expensive cost as with Google maps. I always buy a phone card in the country I travel to.
Now I just use my GPS in Nokia 5800 and do not have to pay expensive downloading cost for taking down maps. I have so far not seen any phone company with a data plan on cash mobile cards abroad.
This is great of Nokia.

Ah ok. Now get your point.
Google is offering it on the Droid only in the US market. Nokia brings it to devices across the world.
And guess what Google is indirectly a customer of Nokia through NAVTEQ(owned by Nokia) which supplies maps.

This was first started by Google and now Nokia is following it.
I know in order to survive in this competitive market, they need to do this.

How is this copying ?
The entire industry is welcoming Nokia's move .
Apple is known to nickel-and-dime users ;) I understand your love for Apple. But your comment is pointless

If this is the big announcement from Nokia today, then boo. I was expecting more, but as usual, they disappoint.
