Here are the latest rumours surrounding the Windows Mobile 7 Platform:

Two new devices are planned to be announced running Windows Mobile 7

LG Apollo

This is believed to be the first Windows Mobile 7 device set to be released. No pictures are available yet but only rumoured specifications. And from what we hear it is an amazing device.

  • 115 x 57.5 x 11.2 mm
  • Qualcomm QSD8650A-1.3GHz Processor
  • 1GB RAM/ 1 GB ROM
  • micro-SD upto 32GB
  • 3.8″ Capacitive Multi-Touch AMOLED Capacitive Display with WXGA (1280*720) resolution
  • 10 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash, Autofocus and 30 FPS HD Ready Video Recording
  • 1400mAH Battery

It is expected to be release on Sprint and Verizon carrier networks.  The specification lists shows most things are out of the ordinary. Like the 10Mp camera when most devices sport an 8MP or 12MP, 1.3GHz rather than 1GHz or 1.2 GHz. If such a device exists, it would give its competitors a run for their money.
