While the world has been going gaga over the incoming Nexus X smartphone, the tablet that’s supposed to appear alongside hasn’t nearly been getting as much footage. However, all that might change, and soon.

Allegedly spotted in a leak is the upcoming Nexus 9 tablet. The Android L-totting slate apparently managed to score a healthy 45,923 points on the popular AnTuTu benchmark, something that hints at the processing prowess of the device.

According to the source, the Nexus 9 could come with an all-new NVIDIA Tegra K1 Denver that’s based on the 64-bit architecture. The device was also found to have an IMEI number associated with it, which could mean that we will see a SIM capable version of the device alongside the WiFi only.

Since there’s still some time to go before the next announcement, we’re pretty certain that the 45,923 that it scored here could go close to and possible above the 50k point mark, as the devs at Google continue optimizing the software for the slate.

We’ll take this opportunity to ask: What convinces you more, a higher benchmark score or a more fluid user experience? Do let us know in the comments section.
