Spotify made its iOS and Android apps free back in December last year that doesn’t require you to buy premium subscription for listening music. Today the company has announced that it has updated its Windows Phone app offering free access to Spotify. This introduces shuffle play that lets you play any artist, album, or playlist in shuffle mode. Free access to Spotify is available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone apps in select markets worldwide where it is live.

Spotify premium is still available, that offers ad-free high quality music, offline mode and Spotify Connect This update brings additional improvements, including better search results, easier way to browse artists and discover related artists.
