Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ with Snapdragon 805 and LTE-A announced in Singapore


Samsung Galaxy S5 4G Plus

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S5 4G+ in Singapore. It is a variant of the Galaxy S5 broadband LTE-A that was launched in Korea in June. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and has LTE-A support up to 300 Mbps. Other specifications are similar to the global Galaxy S5 variants, including a 5.1-inch 1080p display, 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage with expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD and a 2800 mAh battery.

The Galaxy S5 LTE-A (SM-G901) with similar specifications of the S5 4G+ appeared in benchmarks earlier this month and is expected to launch in Europe soon. The Samsung Galaxy S5 4G (SM-G9001) that was launched in India last month has a Snapdragon 801 processor.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ comes in Copper Gold, Charcoal Black, Shimmery White and Electric Blue  colors and would go on sale in Singapore from 23rd August 2014. It comes in a range of plans from SG$0 to SG$ 688 on SingTel.
