Uninor debuts with over 12 lakh subscribers in 1 Month

Uninor today announced its first monthly subscriber numbers since its launch in December 2009 and the numbers does look mightly impressive. By the end of December, Uninor has already secured over 12 lakh subscribers from the 8 circles of its service via UP (West), UP (East), Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh,and Orissa.

Stein-Erik Vellan, Managing Director of Uninor India Pvt Ltd said “We are building on our launch – scaling up our network and our distribution. We will continue to focus on customer experience – listening closely and respecting their wishes. We will also compete for every new subscriber. In a market this competitive, it will never be easy, but we have a long term ambition and we have made a positive start”.
