Why only htc HD2? An overpriced hummdinger. I think the htc hero deserves a place. First or last doesn’t matter. Moreover why are we looking only at the higher priced segment. All the phones after reaching a certain level do the same stuff, a lil differently from each other. Crappy. I think the Blackberry 8520 is one of the best value for money phones here. I also believe that the 10 best phones can be chosen for their individual quality rather than overall functionality. We all like jack-of-alls but the master of one is the loved one. Pixon missed out. Satio apart from the camera is a very boring phone. Same old dumb-phone Symbian interface. And its camera can take widescreen photos at 9mp. Why would I pay 32k for a camera that works as a phone and still doesn’t do what it says it can. Any which way, good list.

Well , E75 is a great phone with really poor battery life. I agree with you . E75 was the first Eseries S60 FP2 device .
But E72 is a clear winner. Atleast the sales figures are telling so

Kapil, Haha , We don’t hate Sony . Infact I use a Sony Vaio and We use a Sony camcorder for recording videos uploaded to FoneArena.

Yari is not upto the mark. Purness is not there in India so far

E72 amongst top 10 phone’s out in 2009 ! Nice joke. It’s 5 MP camera for E-series & what else ? Oh yeah slightly new functionality of Navi wheel which has been under sharp criticism from users & section of reviewers. Not to mention majority of E71 users still preferring to hung around with E71 instead of upgrading to E72 & those who have are bitting their nails. E75 which replaced E90 as a flagship phone early 09 is sadly not here. USB charging, compact size, alpha-numeric + qwetry lethal combination + inbuilt nokia messaging client + 8 GB card inside pack etc – all firsts to the credit of E75. Also a first E-series to offer solid multimedia features (many desired Nokia to input range of multimedia features into E-series devices) such as sporting dedicated key for 3.2 MP decent camera, N-Gage, A-GPS. Accelometer & than exclusive IM beta compatibility etc. I’m not here to count features of E75 as you can find them in plenty on web. What I want to say in a nutshell is its not just about features but its also about vision. E72 is nothing but slightly refined incarnation which never makes us believe as if its something pathbraking in mobile phone world. If you ask me, E72 is just any other phone !!! Honestly hard to believe it can find its place in Top 10 but than its individual to individual choice & no complains really.

BEST TEN PHONES definitly means the expensive ones with the best features. Now i want the editors to bring the best to what they think are previous years most rocking economical phones ranging between 3 to 10k. And also should look the popularity. For me, i think Samsung has really matured in mobile building business. Corby is fantastic. Though i didnt got Corby mate in the market,my kind of choice. So we saw touch revolutions by two giants. Nokia and Samsung. And samsung takes the scene with a margin:)

I will buy HD2 soon… I really want it!
Huge screen, capacitive, multitouch, thin, fast processor, big RAM and ROM (not secondary ROM), and (of course) Windows Mobile 6.5

But, don’t forget the HTC Touch Pro2, Samsung OmniaPRO B7610, and many other great professional device..

How different is X2 from the X1 ?

Aino and Yari din’t make much of an impact.

X10 and Pureness are still not in markets in major countries. X10 might be in 2010 list

The iPhone apps are amazing no doubt . But N900 does multitasking which is amazing. You might use Backgrounder on the iPhone but its not something out of the box. And Camera on the 3GS is worth using only in good lighting. But frankly speaking they are two different leagues !

And this list is in random order, no number 1 or number 2.
