Samsung SM-G510F and Huawei G621 with 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC show up in Benchmarks


Samsung SM-G510F GFXBench

Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 410 SoC based on ARM Cortex A53 CPU. Recently Samsung SM-G510F and Huawei G621, upcoming smartphones with 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU has been spotted in benchmarks. The Samsung SM-G510F spotted in GFXBench listing (via) would come with a 4.8-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD screen, runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Huawei G621 GFXBench

The Huawei G621 that has been spotted on AnTuTu is expected to come with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, run on Android 4.4 (KitKat), feature a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Both these smartphones would come with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It is not clear if these devices would come with LTE support since the Snapdragon 410 chip has integrated LTE modem. Battery capacity is not available for both these smartphones.

At the launch Qualcomm announced that it would ship the chip to OEM at the end of the first half of 2014. Hope we can expect first devices based on Snapdragon 410 later this year. MediaTek announced MT6732 quad-core SoC based on Cortex A53 with Mali-T760 GPU and LTE support earlier this year.
