u do not need a corby speed . u can even use samsung 699. becos till today there is no broadband plan details which none of the reliance CC is able to answer.

so do not break ur head. wait for some time whenevery thing is clear and then buy the required hand sets

    Hey

I am using the tata photon+ usb data card but it never gives me speeds of 3.1mbps as advertised.

on inquiring about the speed they said that on CDMA networks u can get an average speed of 144kbps. So guys if you are thinking of browsing at 2.4mbps…… Forget it.

  • raju says:

Hi, I have purchased Corby speed last week, I got it for 8300@ Hyderabad. for the RUIM sim 100/- I have activated sim with tata indicom.

Until there that was good, For the internet part it is sucking… it is not as promised as it was. NO 2.4 MB’s internet speed, i have installed an .Jar to see what exact speed am i getting, it is 40 to 50 Kb, for the other it is fine. It also lacks WIFI feature. It is not truly worth of 8000 to 9000 phone.

    • S says:

Yes you sud go for it. As speed and RUIM change was having confusion at many outlets. but now as everyone is aware of this you won’t face any problem. And the best thing this Corby price had dipped and you can get it by paying as low as 7500 in mumbai.

I used internet on Samsung corby as per the reliance offer of free usage for first two months. But there are so many bluffing facts hidden in this offer by the services providers. I’ve been succked off for two thousand ruppees due to this cheating offers. Please dont rely on such offers. By any means they will pick your pocket.
