Hitman: Sniper coming to smartphones and tablets as a free to play game later this year

Hitman: Sniper

Square Enix released Hitman Go for Android yesterday, couple of months after releasing it for the iOS. Today the company has announced a new game called Hitman: Sniper. This would be a competitive sniping game, almost similar to the Hitman: Sniper Challenge developed by Io-Interactive, unlike a puzzle game. The Hitman GO that was released recently would get new levels soon, said the company.

Regarding the gameplay, Square Enix, said

You’ll need to have your wits about you to complete scenario-driven contracts that contain a number of targets and assignments. Each one is designed to have a high level of replayability, not only to fine-tune your approach but to explore creative alternatives and to achieve the ultimate score on the leaderboard.

The game would be available for smartphones and tablets (Probably Android and iOS devices) later this fall. It would be available for free of charge with optional in-app purchases such as weapon upgrades, early access to contracts and more. The company would showcase the game at the E3 expo next Wednesday . Check out the teaser below.
