Sony has launched XSP- N1BT, a Smartphone Cradle Receiver that would let you turn your smartphone into a car stereo. You can use the smartphone to control music, navigation, phone calls and text messages. This lets you place the smartphone securely in the dash. The new AppRemote interface uses the smartphone’s touchscreen to control head-unit functions via Bluetooth (Android devices) or via USB (iPhone). It also offers voice operation of both the head unit and the smartphone.

You can also use the XSP-N1BT as CD, USB and tuner source even without a smartphone. It comes equipped with a one touch NFC connection feature and it can also read your incoming mail, SMS, SNS automatically from car speakers. You can also use it as hands-free phone since it has a built-in microphone.
