Flappy Bird created a lot of buzz in the handheld gaming industry and Angry Birds creator Rovio has decided to use the hype to create a similar game. Rovio has just launched ‘RETRY’ game that looks like Flappy Bird.
With ‘RETRY’, Rovio is taking us back to the 8bit age and graphics are quite antique. The gameplay trailer suggests that the game is a glorified version of ‘Flappy Birds’. Although there is a Flappy Bird heart, the game has a lot of other things going like collection coins and moving through various different obstacles.

The game has been released under Rovio Lvl 11 name, which is the studio name that will be used for gaming titles not related to Angry Birds. The game is already available in the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad. Just like its previous titles, Rovio is doing a soft launch by making the game available only across select countries and the first launch countries are Canada, Poland and Finland.
The game is soon expected to be available in other countries and is also expected to come to Android devices.
