Gionee to set up 750 service centers across India by March 2015


Gionee started its operations almost a year back in India. Today it has announced that it will open more than 750 service centers across India by March 2015. The Chinese company recently unveiled world’s thinnest smartphone Elife S5.5  at Rs 22,999.

Gionee says it has already opened more than 400 stores in India in mere one year of its operations. All of these stores are available  across Tier I, II & III cities in the country. These service centers will boast of team of expert technicians and specially trained service advisors.

The company has mere 2 percent share in Indian smartphone market and has made Rs 500 cr in sale as per an ET report. Gionee says they ship 23 million handsets per year worldwide.
